For trips where the first segment is operated by GOL, check-in can be done at the GOL counter at the airport, through our website www.voegol.com.br/en, APP or kiosk/totem. If the first segment is operated by Aeromexico, check-in can be done at the Aeromexico counter or through the partner's website. Remember that you must be in possession of valid travel documents*, such as a valid passport, visas and vaccinations, if applicable.

It is not possible to purchase checked baggage in advance on digital channels. The purchase must be made directly at the counter of the company operating the selected flight.
If the baby travels in an own (reserved) seat, the baby has the same amount of luggage as an adult. If the baby travels on the passenger’s lap, it’s possible to check a baggage up to 20kg, plus a baby stroller.
If there is excess baggage, it is possible to pay for the value of the excess when checking-in, directly at the counter.
Fragile items are accepted, since they are properly packed. However, if the item is damaged for any reason, the company will not be hold accountable for the refund. Consult the air transport contract for more information.
No perishable food is allowed. For more information, contact the consular or customs services of the countries of destination and transit.
For transporting sports equipment on flights between GOL and Aeroméxico, the maximum weight allowed per piece is 45 kg.
The maximum allowable length per part on large aircraft is 2.04 m and on small aircraft is 2.94 m (maximum length including the case).
Kayak, canoe, windsurf and hang glider equipment will only be accepted via GOLLOG.

Baggage withdraw of flights with partners must be done at the final destination. When the passenger comes from a flight from Mexico to a destination in Brazil, in the case of a connection flight, the baggage must be withdrawn at the first stop in the country (Brazil). After the mandatory customs procedures, the customer must go to the GOL counter to re-check the baggage.
For cases of lost luggage, the responsibility for registering and tracking the status of the baggage process rests with the last airline to transport the passenger. If lost luggage is identified when connecting international flights to GOL's domestic flights, the customer must file the baggage claim with the company that transported the passenger in the previous leg.
In case of damaged baggage, the customer must contact the last carrier, so that a baggage process is opened. If this damage is found from an international flight to a domestic GOL flight, the process must be opened with the carrier of the first leg.
One piece of carry-on baggage is permitted with dimensions that do not exceed 55 cm in height, 35 cm in width and 25 cm in length, including pockets, wheels and handles, and a total weight of up to 10 kg.
All electronics must be transported as carry-on luggage. Laptops, cameras, cell phones, camcorders and tablets must go through the airport X-ray machine at the entrance to the departure lounge.
Valuables, such as jewellery and cash, are also only accepted as carry-on baggage.
The transport of cold weapons, firearms, cartridges and ammunition for firearms, printer cartridges, liquids containing more than 100 ml per bottle, fuels, batteries with electrolyte, lithium batteries with a power of more than 160 Wh, fires fireworks, bombs, paints, chemicals and mercury thermometers is forbidden as carry-on luggage.
If you do not show up for the boarding (no-show) of partner airlines, call the GOL Customer Service Center (0800 704 0465) to carry out the refund procedure, according to the fare purchased.
The request for assistance for the passenger with special needs must be requested at the time of booking the ticket or at least 72 hours before departure. For flights originating in Brazil, the request for special assistance such as a wheelchair can be made at least 48 hours before departure.
Minors under 16 years of age cannot travel unaccompanied.
Infants aged up to 1 year and 11 months pay 10% of the adult fare, but must travel on the lap of an adult over 18 years of age. Only one lap baby is allowed per customer.
Pregnant women from 31 weeks must present a medical certificate in Portuguese and in the language of the country.
The transport of any live animal is not accepted on flights operated by the GOL and Aeroméxico partnership, except for a Guide Dog. If you want to request the guide dog service, please contact the operator(s) of the flight(s) you wish to take. For more information on the documents required, contact the consular or customs services of the countries of destination and transit.
